Jerri St. John was born in New Jersey to young parents, who were apparently not ready for the responsibilities involved in raising a child. She was raised in California and resided in Maryland for almost 30 years.
She spent the first nine years of her life hiding from chaos, abuse, and neglect in her home and parented her two younger siblings at the age of nine years old. Jerri said she “had no idea what she was doing.” Why should she? Eight and nine-year-olds are not expected to be parenting other children. She was but a child herself.
Jerri lived on her own since she was 16 years old and worked to support herself throughout high school and Junior College.
Her life experience created in her a lack of self-esteem, self-doubt, loneliness, and morbid obesity. But Jerri’s story does not end there. She may not have had dolls and afternoon play tea parties, but she learned to take control of her emotions, embraced life, and excelled in customer service throughout her business career.

Jerri proudly shares that she grabs hold of life. gratitude and positivity in her daily life. Does she spend a lot of time in the past? No. Instead, she views her past as life experience rather than pain and regret.
Jerri has been in Direct Sales as a top trainer, coach, and mentor since the age of 19. She loves inspiring and empowering women to find their inner strength and beauty while becoming the best version of themselves.
A certified Life Coach, Independent Stylist, and Team Leader with Color Street and owner of Jewels from Jerri, Jerri considers her optimism, love for people, and her positive outlook to be her greatest strengths. She works to be a light in the world and help women improve their lives through her weekly “Finding YOUR Power” broadcasts on Facebook.
